Terms for Career Consultants

To offer services as a career consultant on Nokhba, you must: • Be at least 21 years of age • Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in career coaching, HR, recruitment, or a related field • Complete Nokhba's consultant verification process, which may include: - Identity verification (Emirates ID, passport, or equivalent) - Professional credential verification - Background and reference checks - A trial consultation review • Be legally authorised to conduct business and receive payments in the UAE or your jurisdiction • Hold any professional licences required by UAE law for the services you provide Nokhba reserves the right to reject or remove consultant applications at its sole discretion.

Your consultant profile must accurately represent: • Your qualifications, certifications, and professional experience • Your areas of specialisation (e.g., tech careers, finance, executive coaching) • Your languages spoken • Your session rates Misrepresentation of credentials is a serious breach of these terms and may be referred to UAE authorities. You must update your profile within 14 days of any material change to your qualifications or availability.

As a Nokhba consultant, you agree to: • Conduct all client sessions professionally and with appropriate expertise • Be punctual — if you are more than 10 minutes late to a session, the client is entitled to a full refund • Maintain client confidentiality — you must not share session content, client identities, or career information with third parties • Not solicit clients for paid services outside of the Nokhba platform for 12 months from the date of your last Nokhba-facilitated session with that client • Not provide services you are not qualified to deliver (e.g., legal or financial advice unless you hold the relevant UAE licence) • Comply with the UAE Code of Professional Conduct applicable to your field

Booking & Availability You are responsible for keeping your availability calendar up to date. Cancelling confirmed bookings fewer than 48 hours before the session (except in genuine emergencies) may result in a penalty deducted from your payout. Session Formats You may offer video calls, phone consultations, or in-person meetings in Dubai or your listed location. All sessions must be booked and paid through Nokhba. No Off-Platform Payments Accepting direct payment from Nokhba clients for services that should be booked through the platform is a breach of these terms and will result in account termination and recovery of any commission owed.

Commission Structure Nokhba charges a platform commission on each completed consultation. The current commission rate is displayed in your Consultant Dashboard and may be updated with 30 days' notice. Payout Schedule Completed session payments are released to you within 7 business days of session completion, less Nokhba's commission and any applicable bank transfer fees. Payout Method You must provide valid bank account details (UAE IBAN or equivalent) for payouts. Nokhba is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect banking information. Taxes You are solely responsible for declaring and paying any UAE corporate tax, VAT (if you are VAT-registered), or personal income tax applicable to your earnings. Nokhba will provide a commission statement for your records. Refunds & Chargebacks If a client successfully requests a refund for a session (in accordance with our cancellation policy), the corresponding amount will be deducted from your next payout. If Nokhba receives a chargeback from a client's bank, the disputed amount will be held pending investigation.

You will have access to client profiles and career information to deliver your services. You must: • Use client data only for the purpose of delivering the booked consultation • Not retain, copy, or export client data beyond what is necessary for session delivery • Delete any session notes containing personal data after 6 months unless the client has consented to longer retention • Comply with UAE PDPL in all handling of client personal data Breach of client confidentiality may result in account termination and civil liability.

You retain ownership of content you create (e.g., coaching frameworks, templates, guides). By publishing content on Nokhba, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display and promote it on the platform. Session recordings (where both parties consent) are owned jointly by you and the client. Nokhba does not store session recordings unless both parties explicitly opt into a recorded session feature.

Nokhba may suspend or terminate your consultant account for: • Misrepresentation of credentials • Client complaints that indicate unprofessional conduct • Soliciting clients off-platform • Persistent cancellations or poor session attendance • Violation of client confidentiality • Any breach of these terms or the General Terms of Service Upon termination, any pending payouts for completed sessions will be paid within 30 days less any amounts owed to Nokhba. Future bookings will be cancelled and clients refunded.

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, or agent of Nokhba. You are responsible for your own working conditions, equipment, insurance, and professional development. Nothing in these terms creates an employment relationship.

These Consultant Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts as described in our General Terms of Service.
