DIFC Data Protection

Where the DIFC Data Protection Law applies to our relationship with you, we follow its requirements alongside the UAE PDPL.

When this applies

Nokhba is primarily governed by the UAE Federal PDPL as a Dubai mainland-registered entity. The DIFC Data Protection Law (DIFC Law No. 5 of 2020) applies where we process data on behalf of, or in connection with, organisations established in the DIFC — for example, employers in the DIFC posting roles or recruiting through our platform.

DIFC-aligned practices

For DIFC-related processing, we apply the same core principles the DIFC law requires: a lawful basis for processing, data minimisation, defined retention periods, and the data subject rights (access, correction, deletion, objection) set out in our Privacy Policy.
