Nokhba is a UAE-based platform governed primarily by the UAE PDPL. For users connecting to us from the EU/EEA, we respect the core principles of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Our legal basis

Nokhba is registered and operates in Meydan Free Zone, Dubai, UAE, and our primary data protection obligations arise under the UAE PDPL. We have not made a determination that GDPR applies to us as a Data Controller under Article 3's extraterritorial scope, and we don't claim formal GDPR certification — GDPR itself has no official certification scheme.

Principles we follow regardless

Whether or not GDPR formally applies to a given interaction, we apply the same practical protections to all users: data minimisation, a stated purpose for every piece of data we collect, defined retention periods, and the ability to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data.
